Frequently asked questions

When do I need weightings?

Whenever individual exams or subjects count more than others.

Can I also enter half weights?

Yes. The calculator also processes decimal values ​​such as 0.5 or 1.5.

Is a lower value better?

Yes. In the German grading system, 1.0 is the best grade and 6.0 is the worst grade.

Can I use the calculator for certificate grades?

Yes, as long as you know how the individual services are weighted.

Why is my official cut different?

Schools sometimes use their own rounding rules or additional partial grades.
